Synopsis: 

During the 1890s, in Paris, Georges Duroy (Robert Pattinson) moves between the filthiest bars and the most opulent halls. He uses his powers of seduction to try to get out of their precarious social situation and conquer the wealth in this world where politics and media fight for power, where sex is a weapon and fame is an obsession. Among the targets of Duroy are some of the most influential women in the society of the time, as Virginie Walters (Kristin Scott Thomas), Madeleine Forestier (Uma Thurman) and Clotilde de Marelle (Christina Ricci).

So Duroy becomes known as the Bel Ami, while conquering the position of respectable journalist in La Vie Française, achieving success and launching her career. But you must learn to deal with the harsh reality of corrupt society in which they live, with the traitors colleagues, manipulative lovers and businessmen unreliable. Duroy must prove that he can be one of the best seducers, blackmailers more and more ambitious. Adapted from the famous novel by Guy de Maupassant, Bel-Ami is a story full of cynicism, but also the joy that represented the city of Paris, a place where all dreams were possible.
